Blueberry Mango and Banana Smoothie

June 25, 2011 by Garlic Girl 3 Comments

Just another morning out of so many when I realize I really have to start eating healthier more consistently. It’s amazing how quickly I get off track by not being purposeful in my eating and my ongoing quest to feel as healthy as possible.

The good news is that healthy and clean food is so delicious and so easy to prepare. I mean, come on – how easy is it to whip up a salad or smoothie? When it comes to smoothies, though, I’m a little picky. I don’t like smoothies too sweet or too tart. When I create a combo that I like, I try to post it to my blog so I don’t forget! This morning, this simple combination of mango, blueberries, bananas and almond milk was a total winner for me. It was nice and mellow and just made me feel good!

The amounts are below, but you can swap out the fruit for ones you prefer better, and you can add more or less ingredients, depending on the consistency you like! Smoothies are like soups and salads – you are the boss and can make them to your taste!

Enjoy!

You know I would, but I would have to add spinach to it since I know you like that! Yes, I’m ready for your 2 cents series. By when do you need the recipe? Miss you too!
