It doesn’t get much more refreshing than a watermelon smoothie in the summertime! I had no intention of adding this simple smoothie to my blog, but it’s so good, so simple, so refreshing, so light – and so tasty that I wanted to share so you could do the same thing! It takes about two whole seconds, so not much can get in the way of making one, well, except if you don’t have any watermelon in the fridge. But than again, it might be worth running out for one!
This smoothie doesn’t even need an official recipe – just add hunks of watermelon to a blender jar, with soy milk (or your choice of milk or juice.), ice cubes, an optional scoop of protein powder and blend away!
Of course you can add, delete, or substitute, but I have to say this one is pretty darn yummy – and very pretty too!
Feel free to share a link to your favorite summertime smoothie.
Enjoy!
