Simple Hummus with Garlic & Lemon

This recipe is easy, and by using canned garbanzos it can be prepared in just minutes.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups garbanzo beans canned, or freshly cooked
  • 3 cloves fresh garlic
  • 1 Tbls tahini (sesame paste)
  • 1 tsp kosher salt use more or less as desired
  • 1 Tbls lemon juice freshly squeezed
  • 2 Tbls extra virgin olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper optional

Instructions

  • Add all ingredients to food processor and pulse until desired consistency.
  • Add to serving bow;; drizzle with additional olive oil and sprinkle top with more paprika.
